Tumbarumba was ruthless in despatching Federals by 120 points while keeping the Swans goalless and the slaughter could have been worse if the Roos had of kicked more accurately. Key forward Dan Hitchens booted seven goals to hit the lead in the Corryong Courier goalkicking award.
Cudgewa gained a psychological advantage over Bullioh in the lead-up to the finals with a 45-point victory over the Dogs on their home deck.
