A Corryong Health residential client who tested positive to COVID-19 on Monday November 28 has now finished their period of isolation and the current lockdown has been lifted. Changes to PPE requirements, testing and zoning were decided by Corryong Health’s internal Outbreak Management Team this morning.
The new restrictions for staff effective from today are:
- Staff working in the acute and residential areas are required to wear N95 masks and goggles. Gowns are to be used as per standard precautions only*.
- Staff working in all other areas of the agency are required to wear N95 masks. Goggles and gowns are to be used as per standard precautions only*.
- Zoning is no longer essential
- Daily, precautionary asymptomatic COVID-19 RAT testing is to continue until further notice.
- All staff must ensure that you do not attend work if you are symptomatic. Special leave provisions continue to be in place to support you, so there is no reason to come to work.
The following restrictions apply to visitors:
- Visiting hours will resume from 11am-1pm & 4pm-6pm, with a maximum of two hours per visit and two visitors per resident each day
- Please enter through the Urgent Care Centre
- A mandatory Rapid Antigen test is required upon arrival
