FEUDING FACTIONS END UP IN STREET FIGHT

Wodonga detectives are investigating several incidents in Corryong on Wednesday night which resulted in vehicular damage to property, injuries to a person involved and the arrest of four people. 

It is believed that an altercation between two women in Hanson Street earlier in the evening led to a group of people attending a Wheeler Street residence later that night in search of a particular person. It is understood that a resident of the property then got into a vehicle and proceeded to do several burnouts in the street before destroying a neighbour's fence and colliding with another person who suffered minor injuries.

Local police, the police helicopter and highway patrol all attended the scene at around 9.30pm and Wodonga detectives are now conducting an investigation into the affray.

Four men have been charged with various offences to date and further charges are expected to be laid.
