Corryong Health CEO, Dominic Sandilands, resigned from the position yesterday afternoon to take up a role as Chief of Corporate Affairs at Albury Wodonga Health. His resignation will take effect from May 23, 2023.
“While it will be sad to leave Corryong Health, the position at Albury-Wodonga Health is an exciting opportunity at a critical time in my career," Mr Sandilands said.
"I am grateful to have worked with such amazing professionals and community-minded people.
"I will continue to be living in the Upper Murray with my family and commuting to Albury for at least the next 12 months."
Corryong Health Chair, Nicole Barwick, recognised Mr Sandilands’ significant contribution to the Health Service since his commencement in January 2019.
“Corryong Health would sincerely like to thank Dominic Sandilands for his leadership over the last four years," she said.
"Mr Sandilands has successfully led Corryong Health through major traumatic events and contributed significantly to the Black Summer Bushfire Recovery and Covid-19 Pandemic management.”
Ms Barwick added that “Mr Sandilands will be leaving Corryong Health in a strong position in terms of its services, staff and finances. The Board congratulates him and wishes him well in his new role."
"Mr Sandilands has agreed to provide support to an interim CEO who we will announce in the coming weeks. The board has already started work with the Department of Health Victoria to search for a new CEO to ensure business continuity during this recruitment period.”
